This Clever Soap DIY Will Really Soften Up Your Skin

    This is "all-natural" talent.

    Materials:

    Clear glycerin, $8.99

    Knife

    Small heat-safe bowls, $6.69

    Microwave

    Soap fragrance oils, $15.94

    Soap color, $4.98

    Plastic cup

    Ice bath

    1. Cut up a sheet of clear glycerin ($8.99) into small cubes.

    2. Separate the glycerin cubes into 4 small heat-safe bowls ($6.69) and microwave at 20-second increments until melted.

    3. Add fragrance ($15.94) and soap color ($4.98) to the melted glycerin. In order to create a gradient, add different amounts of soap color to each bowl and leave one clear.

    4. Pour the glycerin in a gradient (i.e. one jar at a time, gently) with the clear layer on the bottom.

    5. Submerge the plastic cup of glycerin in an ice bath for 20 minutes.

    6. When the glycerin is firm, remove from the cup by wiggling the plastic cup and pressing gently on the bottom.

    7. Carefully cut the glycerin into quarters and scrape the sides to form the pieces into crystals.

    8. How lovely!
