Everyone coming into college has a picture of what it is, they need to be ready for! However, everyone does not quite get the importance of what they need to be ready for.

Taking Notes!

During your first year and through out college of course! You NEED to take notes, which will greatly help you with lessons and activities that you will take part in.

The Weather!

The weather in Corpus Christi is horrible! You will experience all four seasons of weather in just one week! So always be sure you have an umbrella, tank top, pants shorts, shoes or sandals because you NEED to be ready for anything weather throws at you!

Responsibility, you must have!

DO NOT be foolish, get your work done so you can have time that is actually "FREE". Stay on top of your work and do not go goofing off with friends! School is a major priority.

You need to manage your money, unless your Bill Gates's kid!

College is expensive and you will most likely have a student loan debt! Start saving as soon as possible!

Do not be scared of your professors!

They are human beings just like you! DO NOT be scared to ask for a meeting, they would rather you ask them questions and for help rather then not asking them for anything!

Read the instructions to fully understand the assignment!

You will be given difficult assignments, so be sure to read thoroughly through your instructions to full understand the assignments!

Make time to study!

Studying 10 minutes will most likely not be good thing to do, resulting in a poor grade! Make time to study, to be sure you know the material correctly!

Plan your work!

During college work can stack on top of each other tremendously! So it would be a great idea to plan your work ahead, so you know what is coming up!

Parking is difficult!

Parking will be very difficult to find! Attempt to get to the campus early to find a good parking!

The freedom you will have!

So now relax and enjoy the life as a university college student!
