Top 10 Reasons I love Fantasy Football.
I have been playing fantasy football for over a year and even though I lost last year and am on my way to losing this year I still love it. Here's why:
1.You get to pick players based on whatever you like ("I'm gonna go with Tom Brady because he's cute", "I'm going to go with New York Giants because I am from NY")
2. You research a bunch of sports websites hoping what the analysts say are true and choose according to their suggestions.
3. The analysts are wrong and the player they chose to do well completely sucked in their game. Therefore you have someone to blame when you lose. ("Thanks Michael Fabiano of NFL.com, Philip Rivers only gave me 5 points today!")
4. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut and hopefully the player you choose to play exceeds expectations.
5. You can watch a football games on tv, look at your fantasy lineup to see which of your fantasy players are playing and cheer them on ("Come on DeMarco Murray, make a touchdown so you can give me 6 points!")
6. Fantasy football is a social thing, so you get to hang out or talk with your friends about football for 16 weeks plus the playoffs and Superbowl.
7. You get to think of funny, cool names for your team.
8. The tv show "The League" makes so much sense now. It is EVEN more hilarious.
9. Bragging to other people in the league about how you kicked their butt in a match
10. Winning a trophy for beating everyone in fantasy football and you are awesome until the next NFL season rolls around.
