Dear University Student Applicant,
•Took 4 or 9 years of business and have a beautiful degree to mount to your wall?
•Got your business degree from some over ranked business school?
Well if you got straight A's and wonder why after 4 or 9 years of business education the one thing you can't do is make money, you're the one that chose that route. You're not alone.
They should teach those skills is what I`m saying
Since writing this paper, I remember that at my university, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, there is a BBA in Entrepreneurial Leadership so it's not all schools And Top ranking Universities like Pennsylvania Wharton, Queens-Corrnel and the London School of Economics which offer Executive MBA's which in my opinion are "real" MBA's not just a bunch of academic measurements without real life experience
When the first EMBA at the top ranked university near me was an EMBA program designed only for Health Care, it showed to me that these people have no idea how to measure business because this university was a public university, 100% regulated by the government as well as the health care system in our province and nation.
The first rule of business is open competition and with this government run health care system is where you can never compete and win against a government diagnosis, showed that from the design at the university level, this was a over ranked public institution with a complete disregard for Free Markets, Free Enterprise and real business or the human capital in it.
Furthermore, this showed that this top ranked Business School at this top ranked university had no idea about free-enterprise, the management there of and how much of a lie it was to market executive education which had it's hand-fully engulfed in Government policy rather than an EMBA which provided worthy of the Free-Market. That there, no matter which school ranks where, is the measure of the people who go there. I'd rather stand and sit with Larry Ellison types than go to some school which caters it's business education, almost 100%, to government driven forces before Free-Enterprise executive grad school offerings ever were. In fact, I went into business to service the free market not government.
That's 10's of 1000's of hard working dollars you could have invested it somewhere, bought a book for $25 to learn how to Hedge, or technical skills or spent all that money hiring people like yourself to work for you so you can make money while you cash in on their skills BUT you didn't.
If you were a great student, you would have studied another scholarly field or be in research and development publishing findings on business BUT you didn't like the American Dream idea either.
It's not your fault, the university system is designed to cash in on business education.
You learn terms and equations and then you work for someone like Richard Branson.

Yes, I'm bitter. I am also upset because the education system was designed for people who rightfully deserve good credit but I get targeted by bitter business people and dicks in the industry who have destroyed my chances to grow because I didn't have a degree or some stupid certification.
I only got a C+ in Organizational Behaviour but I found who to talk to, cold call, sit down with, stand up with, work with, work for, fail then succeed with and so forth.
So I got a tax number and my poor East Vancouver ass went out to work among the pawns who had degrees. At a few points even made to quit - twice at government positions in utilities firms because my manger kept telling me I would NEVER be allowed to move up the corporate ladder because I was only certificate ready OR the constant questioning of my abilities despite great references!
Business students should read this book titled "Why the A Students Work for the C Students ( and the B students work for government)" by Robert T. Kiyosaki then read famous competition books by Michael Porter and get a tax number
If not, go to university into a Degree Program called " Being Employed" and leave the business up to people who do business.
Now, many successful business people have university undergrads as well in business BUT university shouldn't leave out people from MBAs or teaching at universities or even undergrads to people who do well in business either by making money or by showing skills related to entrepreneur demonstrated skills.
Because if there was anywhere where it was not more evident that success in an academic field did not require grades required for university entrance, Business would be it.
When the pawns in hiring positions wouldn't hire me, in 51 hours without sleep (ask my friend at the time I was living with), I started a recruitment business - government licensed, listed and ready to take orders.

You know what they don't teach in Business Degree programs??
• The 3 years you end up losing your RRSPs, your credit score, your fiancé and your reputation to a bunch of privileged asses and their useless exercise in destroying your chances - And What to Do to Recover!
•The years in high school your dad made you apply for restaurant jobs he knew you weren't going to get because you weren't the right gender or because you were the wrong ethnic group dude, the 16 hour shifts in at the Canadian Fishing Company you had to work and go to school the next day because you were in summer school and you couldn't get hired in retail and the number times you were turned away at the door because somebody decided Punjabi dudes were not going to get a fair run at job which required little or no experience.
•What to do If Your GPA is never good enough for Co Op Education
•What To Do if You were constantly failing and retaking classes but you were determined, self motivated
•What do to do if you are too much of geek to have friends or a girl friend for the first 6 years of college to be able to enjoy learning
•What to do if you have no one to help you get a job
•What to do if it took you 3 years to complete a 1 year certificate and you were the worst student!
•How to get a job at a Fortune500 Top employer, On Your Own - after your 3rd class in your program (in the first semester )
•How to get 2 simultaneous Internships, On your own - at top level Fortune 500 Firms after your 2nd semester, despite having bad grades, being in school, working a 3rd job for money and volunteering at a neighborhood house while going to acting school - at the Same time by cold calling and establishing relationships!
Oh and on public transit and rides from mom on occasion because at the age of 20, guess what?
•At 20 years old you had brain surgery coming home from work (of all places!) - spent 6 days in a coma, woke up in a wheel chair to a group of Vancouver Coastal Health team of therapists and doctors assigned to at GF Strong Rehab Centre who tell you that you are delusional for saying you were going to be what you are today, personally and professionally so they cut off government services normally given to 20 year old's to return to university but give you a shrink for repeating it and asking for help!
•Working in more than 5 Fortune 500 firms without a head hunter - before you were 30!
•Starting business after business not because you want to but because nobody will hire you to do the same job and you need the work experience
•Starting a fundraising division, a modest campaign at that because the dicks in non profit only chose people they want to sit on their boards
•Technical Trading and Hedging AND winning at it
•Business Analysis and Project Management without a degree or training
•Being successful at programming in most any language in real time despite failing intro to programming 6 times
•Being told by your professor that "you will NEVER make it in Business! Quit now while you're ahead!" despite having been successful at it for almost 15 years!
•Have a BCIT Instructor who told you "Study Marketing or something - you`ll never learn computer programming" while Your Day Job Was "Software Developer" at a Fortune500 firm!
Lastly, Whether you're winning or losing you:
•Get Up Every Day Like Your Going to Work
•Get Ready Everyday like your Going to Work
•Even if you're not making money, find out why and work on correcting that
•Do the first 3 steps: Despite Being Shot At, Bullied, Lied to, Lead On and Learn to Beat The Bank!
And that there Frat Boys and Girls is how one learns to do business -

•desire
•the fear of failure
I welcome all university level co op students & non co op students to allow me the chance to pillage them for the skills you should be teaching them so THEY NEVER turn away a hard working individual, despite their imperfections who happens to be chasing the American Dream!
