First, let's set the mood.

Ever since you picked up the books...
...or saw this opening sequence...
... you've dreamed of receiving a letter of your own.
You even tried to memorize the brick tap sequence...
....just so you could get into Diagon Alley.
You'd rush straight to Olivander's...
...or pop over to Flourish and Blotts to pick up your books...
... and you'd definitely stop by Broomstix to check out the Nimbus 2000.
All after you stop by Gringotts Bank to withdraw some gold galleons of course.
Platform 9 3/4 may be a bit tricky at first...
... but you'd meet a friend...
... or two...
... or a casual army...
... to help you along the way.
Then would come the sorting hat...
... that would place you in your dream House.
You'd feast in celebration...
... and get lost on the stairs as you headed back to you dormitory.
And all of that stair climbing would definitely warrant a quick game of wizard's chess.
You'd have a full day of classes ahead of you...
... but maybe Dumbledore will give you some cryptic words of wisdom to make it easier.
There'd be Herbology...
...Charms...
... Potions...
... Defense Against the Dark Arts...
.... you might even get to try your hand with the Bogart...
... and let's not forget about Divination.
After all of that hard work, you and the gang would gear up for the quidditch match...
...not before stopping by Hagrid's of course.
You'd get into some shenanigans...
... I mean, who wouldn't want to try their hand with the invisibility cloak...
... but the look on Malfoy's face would make The Forbidden Forrest all worth while...
Perhaps you'd even discover your patronus along the way.
As the year came closer to an end and you began your O.W.L. revisions...
...you would stumble across the Room of Requirement for refuge...
...and Dobby, this beautiful elf, would be there for you in your time of need.
Then you'd sit for your O.W.L.s, but it would never be a normal day at Hogwarts...
.... without something completely unexpected happening.
The time for goodbyes would come...
... some bittersweet...
... others, not so much.
But the saddest part is...
... that you never got your acceptance letter...
... yet you still secretly thought Hagrid would simply bust through your door one day...
... but don't fret...
...cause it's not over until the fat lady sings.
