Skin Care And Makeup Products I Would Actually Recommend

I have spent, what feels like all of my teens trying to find skin care and makeup products that don't make my face breakout. I feel like I've finally found a group of 8 products that I swear by.

1. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water

This is my new favorite makeup remover. I used wipes for a long time but they are not cheap and they make me feel wasteful. The Garnier Cleansing Water is inexpensive, lasts longer than wipes, and best of all, it is the most gentle product on the market. It literally just feels like you are wiping your face with a wet cotton square.

2. Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer

This is just a basic and reliable product that I use daily. No complaints. It was one of my first moisturizers so I really have nothing to compare it to.

Another basic and reliable product. I have pretty much always used it or drug store brands with the same ingredients.

4. Olay ProX Cleansing Brush

If you have problem skin, I definitely would recommend getting a face brush. It gets makeup and dirt off your skin that your makeup remover might have missed and it scrubs off the dead skin cells that turn into blemishes. Don't use it every day though because there is such thing as exploiting too much.

5. Neutrogena Clear Face Sunblock Lotion

I've always known that it's important to wear sunscreen regularly but the drug store products I've used have made be break out and the prescription ones are too expensive. This is the first inexpensive face sunscreen that I have used that hasn't clogged my pores and made me feel slimy.

6. Maybelline New York Dream Pure BB Cream

I have used this for a while now and I haven't used anything else since I switched. I don't necessarily know if it is effective at clearing blemishes like it's advertised to, but it's never made my skin worse. My favorite part is that it is super light and breathable, and that is super important when you have acne prone skin.

7. CoverGirl Invisible Concealer

I like this concealer. It's not too cakey and blends well. Not my favorite for covering up blemishes, but I like it for covering the dark circles under my eyes.

8. Maybelline New York Cover Stick Concealer

This is my favorite product for covering up blemishes and dark spots. It's not great if you have dry skin because it will latch right onto your skin and never let go but it's good if you have oily skin because it latches on and never lets go :)
