Has Trump funded the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA)?
At this point
Most people have heard of or read the article by the journalist known as Deadswitch outlining the allegations of Donald Trump's ties to the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). What many may not know is the reason for the timing of this article. In confidential interviews Deadswitch produced evidence in the form of notes and recorded conversation detailing several encounters with individuals in the days and weeks leading up to the publication of the article. During these encounters not only was Deadswitch personally was harassed and threatened, but their family was intimidated as well.
These individuals may have been independent actors but the same tactics were used by Fox news against author Gabriel Sherman in advance of his publication of Roger Ailes' biography in 2014, and is the type of tactic that Trump himself has been coordinating to attack his political opponents.
Rumors of Trump's connection to NAMBLA continue to increase
NAMBLA is a rather nefarious organization with the stated goal of "..work[ing] to abolish age-of-consent laws criminalizing adult sexual involvement with minors and campaigns for the release of men who have been jailed for sexual contacts with minors that did not involve coercion". The introduction of many Americans to this secret society was the 2000 episode of the comedy central show South Park, they are a very real organization. In the late 90's before their meetings went online, they were one of the largest pro-pedophile organizations. Since then, their numbers have dwindled as more members have joined online pro-pedophilia groups. In 2005, they were listed as operating out of Trump's hometown.
While the relationship
Between Ailes and Trump is very well documented. This may explain their similar tactics of targeting and attempting to silence unflattering yet truthful opinions of themselves. With Ailes forced out in the midst of a widespread sexual harassment scandal, deadswitch felt it was finally safe to publish the story. Although precautions (such as an alias, and protected platform) were taken, deadswitch admits "I was not prepared for the number and intensity of attacks" that quickly followed publication. As 12:00pm EST Deadswitch and family are in "a secure place" waiting for things to blow over. Our thoughts are with the whole family. It does raise questions about how many the Trump campaign may have intimidated into silence.

Is it working?
So far, despite Trump supporters vehement and well-coordinated attacks on and offline, social media continues to ask the question "Did Trump Fund NAMBLA"?. It has gotten to the point that an entire section of the popular social media site reddit is devoted to trying to finding answers to these allegations and rumors.
Through all of this
Trump's campaign has refused to either confirm or deny his donations supporting NAMBLA at the time of this writing.
