The dancing, the unicorn, the fashion, the music, the unicorn, the romance, the animal counter-parts, the unicorn. What's not to like from this masterpiece?

"Barbie in Swan Lake"

Barbie + Friendship Goals + Rags to Riches + Female Empowerment + Costumes + Positive Messages = Masterpiece. Tbh, after watching this movie for the first time when I was 12, I wanted to be a musketeer myself and I wasn't totally even sure what it was. 11/10

"Barbie and the Three Musketeers"

Just the rainbow line up of princesses is enough to make me watch the film over and over again. Each princess was distinct with their own personality, so there was something for everyone to relate to. The adorable cobbler was a nice change from the snitch of a soldier in the original tale by the Brothers Grimm (my heroes). All the dancing was superb, and let's not forget to mention the song "Shine" which was nominated for an Emmy!

"Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses"

What's not to love? A heroine who ice-skates. A long-lost sister who was turned into a horse. A creepy AF villain. Lovely animation for the sky castle. And we can't forget Shiver, the most cuddly looking polar bear ever.

"Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus"

The island island animation was lovely. The sidekicks, especially the fabulous peacock, were something I wished I had growing up. The prince doesn't have just one goal; marry the first blonde girl to bat her eyes at him. He wanted to travel and explore some more, and that is something I personally relate to.

"Barbie as the Island Princess"

I love all things ballet, including the romantic and daring stories it can tell, and this film was an excellent potrayal. This was the first Barbie film, and has certainly aged well. The dancing, the music, the plot, the tyranical rodents. I desperately wanted my dolls to wake up and start dancing after watching the film.

"Barbie and the Nutcracker"
