What is a vaccination?

Some people may not know. A vaccination is "any preparation used as a preventive inoculation to confer immunity against a specific disease, usually employing an innocuous form of the disease agent, as killed or weakened bacteria or viruses, to stimulate antibody production." Basically, it helps build up your immune system while introducing the virus into you're body. Some vaccinations include the flu shot, chicken pox, whooping cough, HPV, and many more.

Thimerosal?

So, thimerosal is a preservative that has been used in some vaccines since the 1930's, when it was first introduced by Eli Lilly Company. It is 49.6% mercury by weight and is metabolized or degraded into ethylmercury and thiosalicylate. Thimerosal is a vaccine preservative. It adds shelf life to the vaccinations. Despite it's helpfulness, it is a very harmful chemical substance.

It's common sense that mercury is bad for you. In large doses, it can cause impaired neurological development, tremors, insomnia, emotional changes, headaches, disturbances in sensations, changes in nerve response, and cognitive dysfunctions. Higher exposures may cause kidney and respiratory failure, and can lead to death.

Have you ever broken a mercury thermometer, and have to vacate the room for a certain amount of days? You do that because you know that the exposure to the mercury is bad for you, doctors and people of importance have told you. Professionals tell pregnant women not to eat fish because of the mercury in the fish, saying that it could harm the fetus. So why would they add unnecessary mercury to our vaccinations?

Although it has never been proven, there is a significant amount of evidence that mercury is linked to the cause of autism. Children with autism actually have higher mercury levels than a normal child.

The law.

A new bill is being introduced. It's called SB277. This bill states that all children have to have all their immunization shots to attend public schools... Think about this; if this bill passes, the government will be forcing us to buy a product. Forcing us to inject our children with some chemical that we may or maybe not believe in. This is a clear violation of our basic human rights.

What you can do to help.

To stop this bill from being passed, sign petitions, send letters. VOTE. Help keep children healthy by not putting mercury in their system. Be free to make your own choice.
