5 Films That Feature Mannequins!

The challenge was thrown down by my boss; "Bet you can't come up with 5 films that feature mannequins!" Challenge accepted!

"Mannequin" - 1987

Lets start with the easy one shall we? "Mannequin" a terrible 1987 movie starring Kim Cattral and Andrew McCarthy about a man that falls in love with a shop mannequin........that comes to life........not weird or creepy at all.

"The Silence of The Lambs" - 1991

In “The Silence of the Lambs” chilling serial killer, Buffalo Bill, is seen dancing in front of some Mannequins to the song "Goodbye Horses" by Q. Lazarus. This spawned a generation to associate the song with the words "would you f**k me?".

"Maniac" - 1980 (remade in 2012)

Sticking with the theme of "Psychotic", 1980's horror flick "Maniac" (recently remade starring young Frodo Baggins) is the story of a deranged serial killer who fashions Mannequins to resemble his victims.

"I Am Legend" - 2007

Remember Frank?...... you know Frank?......... Frank, Frank?........ Frank the Mannequin who some how manged to get from the video store to the bridge in the Will Smith remake of the 1971 Charlton Heston classic, "The Omega Man".

"A Clock Work Orange" - 1971

Speaking of 1971, my final Mannequin film is Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece, "A Clock Work Orange"; where during the milk bar scene, Alex and his Cronies can be found surrounded by provocative female mannequins!
