Check out Etsy for downloadable prints, proudly display your own artwork of anyone from Dean Winchester to Bruce Wayne, or hit up an artistic friend and ask them to create a unique piece inspired by your fandom.

2. The Signs Are Everywhere

Got a favorite quote or symbol from your fandom? Great! You have now found a way to add more flair to your walls. Create your own print on your computer and frame it, check out free downloads on websites like Etsy, search Pinterest to learn how to make a banner or use canvas to paint a simple symbol or make 3D word art. The possibilities are endless and, best of all, budget friendly!

3. Scheming Colors

Ask yourself this question: what colors represent my fandom? If you're a fan of Harry Potter, consider using shades of red and yellow in your decor (or the colors of whatever house the Sorting Hat has placed you in). Sherlock fans can use black and gray with a hint of yellow or blue to represent the scarf and the happy face. And, of course, Whovians can decorate using "TARDIS blue". Curtains, rugs, blankets... mix and match to represent your geek side!

Use pieces of costumes to decorate! Add bow ties to windows, hang plaid shirts or an overcoat with a blue tie on a wall, or throw a deer hunter hat and a pipe on a shelf.
