I bet you didn't know that you should store your ice cream tubs upside down in the freezer! This helps prevent "freezer burn" which is when you get watery ice crystals at the top of your ice cream after putting it back in the freezer.

Store your ice cream tubs upside down.

Did you know that you can make banana ice cream with just one banana? Simply slice a ripe banana into even slices, then place them in a freezer-safe bowl or freezer bag. Place the bowl or bag in the freezer for at least 2 hours, but ideally overnight. Blend the frozen banana pieces in a food processor or powerful blender until smooth and creamy. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until solid. Hope you enjoy!

When ordering two scoops of ice cream, ask for the two scoops to be in separate cups/cones. This way, each scoop will be much bigger than if they were both in the same cup/cone.

Here's an easy hack to make soft serve. Whip 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream until it forms soft peaks, then add a tablespoon of sugar until combined. Fold in 3 cups of ice cream, softened, then transfer the mixture to a freezer bag. Put the bag in the freezer for about 4 hours, then snip off a corner of the bag to squeeze the ice cream out in soft-serve fashion. Hope you enjoy!
