#EllenEggCrack Trends For The JDRF Egg Crack Challenge

Ellen Degeneres has become the target for the JDRF Egg Crack Challenge to honor Will Hauver. The Hashtag #EllenEggCrack is quickly spreading as people share it to show support!

22 year old Will Hauver passed away in February from complications due to the Flu and Type 1 Diabetes. Friends and family have started the JDRF Egg Crack Challenge in response to a video he created as a spin-off of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to raise funds and awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Within the past few weeks, the fundraising campaign has gone viral.

Will's mom, Lyndall Hauver, and the rest of his family are all HUGE fans of Ellen Degeneres, and they hope she will help to spread awareness about this cause in honor of Will. Lyndall attended the show in 2009, after buying tickets at a charitable auction. Paige Kennedy, the Villanova senior who has helped to promote this challenge, is also a huge Ellen fan and is praying that Ellen will respond positively.
