The new trailer for xmen days of future past was released today and it's left a lot of people asking "what the hell is going on here".

Returning to the big screen is some of your favourite mutants from the original Xmen series including wolverine (Hugh jackman), Magneto (Michael Fassbender and Ian Mckellen), Professor X (James Mcavoy and Patrick Stewart), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Storm (Halle berry), Rogue (Anna Paquin), Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page). And happily introducing never before seen on the big screen mutants, Bishop (Omar sy), Colossus (Daniel cudmore), Warpath (Booboo Stewart), Blink (Fan Bingbing), Sunspot ( Adan canto) most anticipated by fans of American horror story Evan peters as Quick silver. This movie is so damn jam packed with different mutants at different stages of their life that the end credits will literally be an hour long. Set in a post apocalyptic world, Professor X makes the decision to send wolverine back in time to convince his younger self and Magneto to join forces to stop the creation of the sentinels. The Sentinels being machines built to identify and destroy mutants. The trailer has a darker and more sinister tone than all the other movies in the Xmen franchise. Unfortunately for Xmen comic book fans it doesn't stay true to the comics. The storyline of Kitty Pryde travelling to the future has been completely rearranged and changed to encompass the most recent film, Xmen first class which was set in the past. You may notice that Professor X is looking alive and well even after his presumed Death in Xmen: Last stand, seems how everyone is trying hard to forget this movie we will accept any excuse about why he is still alive. Thank The Lord that Bryan Singer has returned again to direct this movie as he basically set the foundations of the Xmen franchise by successfully directing the first two movies and Xmen first class. And let's just mention Hugh jackmans muscles, damnnnn if every 45 yr old looked like that the world would be a better place. Over all the trailer doesn't really show much of the storyline besides displaying the smorgasbord of Mutants and you really have to scourge around for more information, the viral video release earlier this year of Trask industries (creator and controllers of the Sentinel robots) gives us a sneak peak into the Post Apocalyptic world. Peter Dinklage (Game of thrown's) will play the super villain and master mind of Task industries. The overall view is that the characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in a battle that must change the past – to save their future. But will it all work or will this movie be a hot mess masqueraded by famous actors. Watch the full trailer and viral video below.
