We all love our pets, but as they’re destined to have shorter lives than us, there sadly comes a day when we must say our final goodbyes. Some people, however, refuse to accept that their faithful will not be around anymore. This is where pet cloning is filling a void. Ever since Dolly the sheep was born in the mid 90s, cloning has been making strides forward. It’s controversial mainly because there are so many abandoned pets out there needing homes. Also, people who want to replicate their beloved pet should be prepared for disappointment. Although genetically pretty much the same, science has not yet found a way to accurately replicate character that has been formed not only through an assembly of DNA, but also through experience and numerous other influences.
