Here Is The Most Canadian Interview Ever

    Sorry.

Political reporters often swarm around Parliament Hill to throw questions at politicians as they come and go. Sometimes the interviews are very brief, like today's talk with new Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan.

Sajjan's interaction with an unnamed reporter quickly devolved into a series of apologies.

Reporter: Mr. (Immigration Minister John) McCallum was talking about the first plane that would come that might be a military plane followed by a Royal Jordanian plane. Is that still the plan?

Sajjan: I'm leaving the transportation side to them. As part of National Defence, we're looking at making sure that we provide the right resources so that this important endeavour for Canada is done in an efficient manner. Sorry, I've just got to get to a meeting now. Thank you very much.

Sajjan: "Sorry, I've just got to get to a meeting now. Thank you very much.

    Reporter: "Oh, sorry."

    Sajjan: "You okay?"

    Reporter: "I'm sorry about that."

    Sajjan: "Sorry."
