This Is The Moment A Gunman Shot A Man In The Leg On A London Street

Scotland Yard on Tuesday released images of a man shooting at a group of three men on a south London street and escaping on a moped.

The Metropolitan police have released CCTV footage of a shooting in south London in the hope of finding the gunman, who sped away on a moped after shooting a 20-year-old man.

The victim was shot in his upper right thigh while walking along Tulse Hill with two friends just before 7pm on 7 February in Brixton. Just two shots were fired and no one else was injured.

The victim, who has not been named, was treated at a south London hospital and released the next day.

In the footage, the gunman quickly jumps off the moped, fires two shots at the fleeing men then gets back on the bike, which is driven away by an accomplice towards Norwood.

The Met said the shooter was wearing a black full-face helmet with white flashings and dark trousers with white stripes on the leg. The force's anti-gang violence division, Trident, is leading the investigation.

Anyone with information that could help identify the gunman is asked to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
