Tamron Hall Revealed She Kept Her Pregnancy A Secret Because She Was "Terrified"

"I was terrified I would lose this baby and I would have to go back and tell everyone that now it was bad news..."

You know Tamron Hall, the award-winning journalist best known for her work on MSNBC Live with Tamron Hall, the Today show, and Deadline: Crime.

And you probably know that, back in April, she gave birth to her first child, Moses.

But what you didn't know is that throughout her pregnancy, Tamron was absolutely terrified of losing her baby. So much so that the high-profile media star kept her pregnancy a secret for as long as she could.

"I was high-risk, not just because of my age, but there were other medical factors too," Tamron, 48, told People. "I was terrified I would lose this baby and I would have to go back and tell everyone that now it was bad news, and after this pregnancy had gone so far."

That's why she waited 32 weeks to reveal her pregnancy to the world (by way of this SUPER cute Instagram video).

Tamron also spoke about having undergone unsuccessful fertility treatments in her 30s, attempting again in her 40s, and the toll it took on her mentally and physically.

As for her unexpected exit from the Today show back in 2017 — a move that shook the media world amidst claims of whitewashing her time slot, Tamron doesn't seem to have any regrets.

Between her upcoming syndicated talk show and Moses, we're so damn happy for Tamron! Congrats to you and Steven, sis <3
