2013 Recap.

2013 was crazy year as far as news goes, so here is my opinion on the top stories, and the things I have learned.

Biggest Celebrity News.

1.Miley Cyrus

She grew up, and likes to stick her tongue out. So what? She could be beating puppies or spray painting the Declaration of Independence. Miley is doing her own thing, and sure its a little weird but hey "She's just being Miley".(Bad joke I know)

2.Amanda Bynes

Ya..so she went a little loopy and tried to light her neighbors driveway on fire…no big deal…right? At least now she is staying out of the spotlight and getting the help she needs…(I hope..no like I really hope she is ok cause I fricken love her movies..she was always so classy.)

3. Justin Bieber

What a punk ass… This was not his year, he needs to learn some manners and how to put on a belt….like Justin are you ok? Maybe he just needs a hug.

4.Kimye

I have no opinion on this couple.. quite honestly I get angry when asked about them..I mean since when is bad tye-dye, and riding backwards naked on a motorcycle art?

Political News.

1.Gay Marriage

If you are not gay, how does this law effect you?Oh! Wait it doesn't! Its time for America to stop being close minded, and learn acceptance.

After all -"Its Civil Rights for everyone there is no difference"-Macklemore.

2.War

I do not understand the "wars" we are in. The ongoing war's in Afghanistan, Iraq,and Syria are to me…so incredible sad. I believe it is our duty to help those who need it, but sending drones and US bombs to area's where Taliban may be located, is not the answer especially since these bombs kill thousands innocent civilians. Because that only sends a brutal message of hate, and thats the last emotion the world needs more off.

3.The New Pope

The newly elected Pope Francis has got it down. He lives humbly, and focuses on spreading love,charity,and messages of goodwill. Which is what the World needs! You go Mr.Pope!

Lessons learned in 2013.

1.Love yourself!

Mama Gump says it all! Stop beating yourself up, everyone is beautiful, and everyone has a purpose..its cheesy advice but it is true!!

2. Don't keep negative people around.

All they do is bring you down, and surrounding yourself with negative vibes makes you a truly unhappy person. So instead, wave goodbye to those awful friends, and surround yourself with good natured people for the New Year!

3. Smile more!

As the saying goes- "You never know when someone is falling in love with your smile".

4. Finally- Go on a Adventure!

GO AND LIVE! As fun as staying in and binge watching Netflix is, it will not get you very far. Do not be afraid to do things, get out there and live your life. For as the great poet Drake says- YOLO.
