As you already know, last night was a big night for the Parasite hive, with the film and director Bong Joon-ho taking home four Oscar statues.
And during each acceptance speech and red carpet interview, a familiar face was right by Bong's side. Yep, I'm talking 'bout his interpreter, the incomparable Sharon Choi.
Sharon has accompanied Bong since his first big win at Cannes, and has gained a loyal fan base of her own. And for good reason — she's friggin' phenomenal.
Sharon has translated Bong's words with ease through countless award shows and late-night show appearances, which has left Bong no choice but to stan.
So much so, that while doing press backstage at the Oscars, he shouted her out. If you didn't already know, Sharon is also a director who studied film and is in the process of writing a feature-length script.
And according to Steve Pond, who is a writer at The Wrap, the film will be about awards season, which she obviously knows A LOT about now.
Actor Henry Golding even responded and is all set to star in this instant hit.
Now, this isn't the first time Bong has sang her praises. During a Golden Globes interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she was put on the spot and claimed to be super nervous when on stage.
But Bong was quick to be the greatest hype man alive.
I, for one, sincerely hope that one day soon we get to see Queen Sharon walking across that Oscars stage and handed a golden statue of her own.
