The Fake Wind On "La Rosa De Guadalupe" Is Not Made With A Fan And I'm Kinda Shocked

    Cue the choir music.

If you grew up in a Spanish-speaking house, chances are La Rosa De Guadalupe was the soundtrack to your childhood. It might even still be, the show's been on for 12 whole years.

The dramatic music and even more dramatic moments taught you how to be extra as hell, but the wind on the show is what really made it what it is.

As you know — in each episode — wind blows on the main character when la Virgen answers the protagonist's prayers, accompanied by some choir music. Casual. But is the wind made by using one large fan?

NOPE. It's a hair dryer. Yes...like the kind you dry your hair with. Actor Rocío de Santiago recently appeared on the show and exposed TV's best-kept secret on TikTok.

Hoy les voy a enseñar el secreto de la Rosa de Guadalupe 🤐 Como se hace el airecito 🌬🌬 #Yestarosa #rosadegualupe

In the behind-the-scenes shot, you can clearly see a person squatting down, hair dryer in hand.

A person holding a hair dryer off camera and blowing it in the face of the actor

And here's the finished product. Should have put that thing on turbo for maximum effect, tbh.

I don't know what else I expected, but it somehow wasn't this. And I'm not alone.

Two comments on TikTok saying they thought it was a fan this whole time
A comment of somene wondering how they stay so serious during filming
A comment saying they can't stop laughing because they thought it was a fan
One person saying they'll never be able to watch the show the same way again and another discovering that the other person just stands there while the wind blows
A person saying they thought it was the power of the virgencita this whole time

In conclusion, I now know that I'm being blessed every time I blow-dry my hair. 😗✌️
