When you know better, you do better. Cultural appropriation is an issue year-round and Halloween appears to bring out the worst of it. These outfits each strip real cultures of their complexities and dilute them down to a cheap get-up. This year, don't get caught in one these common costumes, be a human-sized Poptart instead. That's more original.
