5 Days Until Opening Night Of "Goyescas"

There are 5 days until Goyescas, and the excitement is so overwhelming you may not know what to do with yourself until then. How do you live your day to day life until the sweet sonorous sounds and visual splendor of Bare Opera’s next production envelop you in their loving arms? We have included some tips for you here.

Day 4: Review your notes from Spanish class all of those years ago, you’ll need to be totally fluent...

J/K!!!! There are supertitles in English. You can enjoy the beauty of the Spanish language and the ease of understanding every word.

Day 3: Go out with your friends

They will help you through his tough time of aching anticipation. This is also another way for you to test out your dance moves* for Saturday night. You will have fun, and you will also convince your friends to buy tickets to the show and come with you.

*Don't forget to stretch first. We need you out on that dance floor!

Day 2: Treat yourself!

As Donna Meagle and Tom Haverford taught us, there's nothing a little retail therapy can't cure. Fancy "opera" clothing is not required to attend "Goyescas" so you can just focus on honoring your fabulous self whatever that means to you. No judgement here!

Breathe and map out your route to the Bat Haus 279 Starr St, Bushwick, Brooklyn. Hop on the L train and get off at Jefferson St. it's right up the block. Show starts at 8pm. It's general admission, so plan to get there early for your prefered seating. Enjoy the show!
