Cam Newton Investigation
Auburn Tigers Quarterback Cam Newton has been having a breakout season and is now the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. At a time when he should be focusing on the National Championship, he is now dealing with recruiting allegations. A man named Kenny Rogers, acting as Newton’s agent, requested $180,000 from Mississippi State in exchange for Newton agreeing to play there. Mississippi State declined the offer and reported Rogers to the SEC almost immediately. Newton is having an unbelievable year leading Auburn to an unbeaten record. Hopefully this doesn’t derail his quest to win the BCS and the Heisman Trophy.
