Things to NOT do in a retail store

Don't wait to the last minute to check out

We want to go home. Even if we say it's okay to your face it's not okay.

If you have an exchange go get the new item before coming to the register

If you come to the register with the receipt and the item you want to exchange, all we can do is return it. You need to get the new item / replacement item and then come to the counter for us to process your return. It's not our job to go pick out a new item for you.

Don't leave the fitting rooms a mess!

At least hang everything back up properly

Pick up after yourself

If you knock clothes on the floor, pick them up and put them back (properly), and don't leave clothes laying over the top of the rods. If you have garbage, don't leave it anywhere you'd like, ask us to throw it out.

Don't interrupt

If we are with someone else do not interrupt to ask for a price check our something. Wait your turn!

Don't make a scene

Don't yell or get dramatic, we do the best we can. We have to stay clam so we'd appreciate if you tried to stay calm too.

Be respectful

Don't talk down to us. Remember that we are people too!

No cellphones!

Please refrain from talking on your cell phone while checking out. Not only is it disrespectful and rude but it is also obnoxious and frustrating. We may have questions for you or try to explain the next step you need to do on the signature pad so it's easier and faster if we don't need to repeated it multiple times.

Control your kids

Don't let them make a mess of our clean selling floor, don't let them go behind the counter, and don't let them scream or cry for a long time.
