There's A Insane Theory Concerning Hodors Hodorness

Spoilers, obviously. And don't forget to Check out the Original.

We now know that Hodor (aka Wylis) used to be able to Talk. But Hodors current talking Situation does not look to good.

But now there is this awesome Theory that could explain why Wylis became Hodor.

According to this Theory Hodor met the Great Other (aka The King of Winter) in the Crypts of Winterfell and has ever since then only been able to say his Name: Hodor

The Theory starts off by stating that the Norse God of Winter is called Höðr and Höðr kind of sounds like Hodor right?

After that the Theory talks about how Winterfell is actually just one single keep that was build with the Help of Giants and the Children of the Forest and that the rest of the Castle was just added later.

The Reason that Bran the Builder only built the keep and not the entire Castle with the help of the Giants and the Children of the Forest is that the keep that later became the Crypt of Winterfell was supposed to lock the Great Other up. That is also the Reason why nobody besides the Starks was allowed to go inside the Crypt of Winterfell. It is also important to note that we don't know how deep the Crypts of Winterfell are but there have been a lot of Dead Starks in the Past 10.000 Years

According to the Red Priests the Great Other is also the White Walkers God. Maybe that's the Reason why White Walkers are going South, to rescue their God.

There could also be clues in the Name of Winterfell. If the Red Priests are right, then the White Walkers and the Winter that came with them were defeated in the Battle of the Dawn. Winter was defeated. Winter fell . And on the defeated Body of the Great Other the Crypt of Winterfell was built.

That means that the Wall was built to keep the Others OUT and Winterfell was built to keep the Great Other IN. The dead Starks were buried in the Crypt because their Blood helps keeping the Great Other in Place using Blood Magic.

The Theory even claims that The Great Other might be INSIDE Hodor. And that could be true because it is easier to warg inside something after the first time, even if somebody else warged in it. And in the Show or the Books nobody besides Bran was able to warg inside another Person so far. So it could be possible that it was so easy for Bran because The Great Other already warged into Hodor. Additionally, when Bran entered Hodors Mind there was a small part that he wasn't able to go to, maybe because The Great Other is hiding in there?

    What do you think Hodor?
