From 4pm GMT this afternoon the Rugby World Cup quarter final knockout games start. Australia v Scotland is the only predictable game in the round with all the other teams contending with injuries, suspended players and for the All Blacks, absolute terror that they may replicate their performance against France in the 2007 Rugby World Cup, in the same venue in the same quarter final draw.
Scotland is all like
Australia be like...
Ireland might win their first quarter final game
Argentina is looking at Ireland like
South Africans are as confident as ever
Wales is injured as hell but still there
The French are ready for New Zealand
And as for the New Zealanders...
All will be known in 40 hours or so. 4 teams will have to wait another 4 years for Rugby World Cup glory, and the 4 victors will have another week of terror waiting for the semi-finals next week.
Meanwhile...England is still recovering.
And while we are all nervous as hell, this is still the best thing ever. Gotta love Rugby...
