Wednesday night on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Kevin Hart and James Corden had a rap battle and there could only be one winner:

The pressure was on...
...and both were extremely confident in their lyrics.
Since James was the host, he went first and brought the smoke right away.
And all that trash-talking Kevin was doing stopped real quick 'cause homie looked like he was on the verge of tears.
LIKE THE ROAST WAS JUST TOO REAL.
And then James threw even MORE shade by offering Kevin a stool because he's so damn short.
Kevin's mood:
It was like a wake-up call for Kevin that he couldn't be nice.
So Kevin shot back by reminding James, the crowd, and the rest of the world that he was the only thing small in his life.
And threw even more shade by suggesting that James had a dopplegänger…
James hit below the belt in his second verse, calling out Kevin's movie The Wedding Ringer and how it completely flopped, like his rap skills.
So Kevin pretty much questioned James' entire existence.
Everything was cool and all until James decided to throw shade that Kevin was the wannabe Chris Rock.
Kevin wasn't having it and brought the 🔥 once and for all.
Don't worry, though — it was still all love by the end.
