Yesterday, the Syrian Electronic Army — a collection of hackers whose exact membership and location is murky, but who are thought to be based in and somehow affiliated with the Assad regime — perpetrated one of their biggest hacks, bringing down the New York Times and other websites for hours. Today, we caught up with them via email.
