Parents In Germany Can Choose Boy, Girl Or A 'Third Gender' For Their Newborns

    Parents in Germany will soon have three choices on their babies' birth certificates: boy, girl or 'blank'. The law will allow newborns born with characteristics of both sexes choose their own gender when they're old enough to decide. Germany will be the first European country to have 'third gender' legislation and follows similar laws passed in Australia and Nepal.
