3 Short Films, Released By The Victims’ Relative’s To Highlight River Safety

Over the past 15 years there have been 24 deaths in York’s rivers. Three of the victim's relatives tell of the impact it has had on their lives and what you can do to avoid putting your loved ones in the same position as them.

Jackie Roberts, mother of Megan Roberts. Megan, a 20 year old university student died after entering the river after a night out in January 2014.

the girlfriend

Rachel, girlfriend of Ben Clarkson. Ben died after entering the river after a night out in March 2014.

Steve Pearson, father of Tyler Pearson. Tyler, a York soldier died after entering the river after a night out in April 2014.
