These Mexican Cops Counseled A Man Contemplating Suicide With Tacos

    Tacos save lives.

Early Tuesday morning, Mexico City police officers prevented a man from jumping off a bridge by treating him to tacos, reported Azteca Noticias.

According to SDP Noticias, the unnamed man, who was from the state of Guerrero, was contemplating jumping off a bridge because he felt "lonely and depressed in Mexico City."

When police officers arrived at the scene, they convinced the man to step off the ledge and eat so he could rethink things with more clarity. So, they took him to Taqueria Corona in the neighborhood of Maximino Ávila Camacho and bought him a variety of tacos.

According to Martin Santiago Mondragon, one of the paramedics at the scene, they gave the man psychological help to the best of their ability. "We tried to convince him that life is so beautiful, and he doesn't have to end it like that."

In the end, the police and paramedics, with the help of some delicious tacos, saved this man's life.
