Lena Headey Just Revealed A "Game Of Thrones" Deleted Scene That Would've Changed Cersei's Final Storyline

"It was a really kind of traumatic moment for Cersei that never made it in."

So, it's been exactly a month since Game of Thrones aired its final episode.

And since all of the Game of Thrones secrets have been revealed, the cast can FINALLY talk openly about their time on the show without spoiling anything.

This past weekend at German Comic Con, Lena Headey talked about a scrapped scene in Season 7 that would've completely changed the final season for Cersei.

Lena revealed that she actually filmed a scene that featured Cersei having a miscarriage.

She said, "We shot a scene that never made it into Season 7, which was where I lose the baby. It was a really kind of traumatic, great moment for Cersei that never made it in."

Lena went on to say that she loved the scene and the moment would've "served [Cersei] differently" in Season 8.

In case you need a refresher, a major part of Cersei's final storyline dealt with her pregnancy, especially when Euron Greyjoy believed he was the father instead of Jaime.

By the end of the series, we still didn't have a full explanation for Cersei's pregnancy, including whether or not she was actually ever pregnant or if she lost the baby prior to Season 8.

So, this deleted scene would've changed Cersei's entire final storyline, and now I'm wondering what else might've been planned for her.

This isn't the first time Lena has spoken about Cersei's final season character arc.

In a recent interview with the Guardian, Lena revealed that she wasn't happy with how Cersei died, saying, "I wanted a better death."

Basically, we were robbed of what I can only assume would've been a heartbreaking and unbelievable performance from Lena!
