The "It Chapter Two" Cast Revealed Which Stunts Went Terribly Wrong Behind-The-Scenes

"I'm pretty tough, but I started crying."

    🎈Warning: Major spoilers ahead!🎈

So, if you've seen It Chapter Two, you're definitely aware that the movie features some pretty amazing action sequences.

And while they look unbelievable on-screen, some of the moments actually went kind of wrong behind-the-scenes.

In an interview with BuzzFeed at SDCC, Bill Hader, James McAvoy, and Jessica Chastain revealed which stunts they got injured doing.

One iconic element in both It films includes the Losers' Club venturing into the sewers to find Pennywise.

Bill Hader revealed while filming one of the sewer scenes, they all thought James McAvoy got seriously injured.

Bill said, "James was walking and all of a sudden he disappeared [underwater]. We all freaked out!"

He continued, saying, "Suddenly, he popped up and was like, 'It's great. It's great' still in character as Bill, but it was a little of James being like, 'We're good. We're good.'"

Speaking of James, he revealed that he did a majority of his own stunts, and he ended up tearing both of his quads and suffering tendonitis after production wrapped.

Jessica Chastain also suffered her share of injuries while on set.

In It Chapter Two there's a scene where one of Pennywise's tricks pulls Beverly underwater.

Jessica said, "I'm struggling and my knee went up and I got sliced open. I have a scar from it actually."

Another stunt that went terribly wrong for Jessica happened after her super bloody scene.

After Beverly and Ben escape Pennywise's tricks, they start running through the caves in order to find the others.

Jessica said, "I had an accident where I was going through a cave and I stood up too quickly. And it was all rocks. I'm pretty tough, but I started crying."

She continued, saying, "I was sitting, covered in blood, and I was trying to figure out what was real blood and what wasn't."

And finally, Bill joked that while James, Jessica, and the rest of the cast were doing all of these amazing stunts, he got injured simply running from Pennywise.

Bill explained, "I ran like 10 feet, pulled my groin, and I had to go to a doctor. We ran in circles for like 18 hours and that's when I pulled my groin."

Basically, I'm even more impressed by the entire It Chapter Two cast and I can't wait to see this movie again and look out for these scenes.
