Emilia Clarke Has Been Worried For Months That Beyoncé Will Hate Her After The Final Season Of "Game Of Thrones"

    "Please, please still like me."

Well, after eight seasons, countless deaths, and a few dragons, Game of Thrones has officially come to an end.

And now that the show is over, the cast is opening up about how hard it was to keep everything under wraps, in particular Emilia Clarke.

Emilia revealed that while she found it difficult to keep Dany's ending a secret for almost two years, it was never harder than when she met Beyoncé.

In an interview with The New Yorker, Emilia talked about meeting Beyoncé at an Oscars after party this year.

Emilia said that while she was at the bar, she suddenly saw "this vision, this angel, this incredible woman float towards me."

Beyoncé approached Emilia and told her, "Oh, my goodness, it’s so wonderful to meet you. I think you’re brilliant."

Emilia reacted exactly how anyone would if they met Beyoncé: She almost started crying and could barely form sentences.

Eventually, Emilia gained some courage and told Beyoncé that she's a huge fan and has seen her in concert.

However, while those words were coming out of her mouth, Emilia admitted that all she wanted to do was tell Beyoncé the ending to Game of Thrones.

Emilia said, "All I wanted to scream was 'Please, please still like me even though my character turns into a mass-killing dictator! Please still think that I’m representing women in a really fabulous way.'"

Any Game of Thrones fan is well aware that Daenerys's final character arc has made a ton of people angry — even Emilia admitted that it took her a long time to come to terms with Dany's story.

So, it's no surprise that Emilia was a little worried about how Beyoncé, her idol, would react to Dany's villainous actions in Season 8.

Basically, like Emilia, I'm just here desperately wanting to know Beyoncé's take on Dany's final episodes.
