No one is saying she doesn’t work. They’re mad that she pretends that she got there completely on her own and refuses to acknowledge her privilege and connections that helped her from the start.
My brother-in-law is Ghanaian and my sister taught me to make Jollof. I’ve only made it once myself, but I didn’t find it too time-consuming. Then again, there is nowhere near me that I could buy it, so from scratch is the only option.
