PLEASE READ! THIS EVENT WILL HAPPEN ON AUGUST 15TH NO MATTER WHAT!!! If you have taken the day off from work for this event, don't worry this will happen!! There will be something to do!!!
I have been reading, replying and keeping track of everyone's concerns for this event since day 1. I am the only admin for ISMD and I live in NYC, so I am doing my best for you all Moonies in LA.
I have contacted the host of this event many times over for a very long time now. The host will not post anything at all until the venue(s) she is trying to get is 100% complete & ready to be announced. She is aware of the date and has hosted many events in the past. She has 2 plans for this event, her plan A would be an amazing location, but she need to get things to be confirmed. If Plan A, doesn't work out, she has a Plan B. Again, she will not post anything until its 100% confirmed.
Now I do understand how you all feel. You know the date, but want to know what you will be doing that day and where, so you can plan accordingly.
This is what we will do: If you cannot wait or don't want to bother for the announcement anymore, feel free to do your own event!
If you have a location in mind that will be easy for everyone to meetup and have fun, go ahead! Remember to follow the laws & rules of the location & city.
Keep this event simple! This event is just a celebration of our love for Sailor Moon. It can be anything! Remember to share pics & stories with all of us. Let me know what you all want to do! That way it can be updated on the website and I can keep track.
