Feed the Birds- 50th anniversary tribute to "Mary Poppins" (cover by Neda Lahidji)

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share with you something that is very dear to my heart. I wanted to do a music video of “Feed the Birds” in honor of the 50th anniversary of Mary Poppins!

I grew up watching this film and loving everything about it as a little girl. When I was three years old all I remember doing was watching Marry Poppins and The Sound of Music and singing along. Little did I know I would meet Julie Andrews 10 years later at her book signing, where I gave her a letter and explained how much her work meant to me, and how much I admired her as an artist. I told her that she was my inspiration growing up and the reason I have chosen to pursue performing as a career. I couldn’t stop crying on the way home, as I found myself crying tears of joy and so humbled by her lovely presence. One never forgets a moment so special like that, where a person you respect so much on-screen is standing before you and telling you to never give up on your dream. This is why the making of this video has been so important to me. I hope you all enjoy it, and take something away from this little blurb I have shared.
