    2014 turned out to be a great year for pro-life candidates! Get to know the newest crop of pro-life leaders headed to the Senate.

    1. Iowa: Joni Ernst

    Ernst served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

    She is also the first woman ever elected to Congress from Iowa!

    2. Colorado: Cory Gardner

    His opponent Mark Udall made attacking Gardner's pro-life stance the central focus of his campaign.

    3. Arkansas: Tom Cotton

    Tom Cotton served almost five years as an active duty Infantry Officer and completed combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

    4. Montana: Steve Daines

    Daines defeated a radical pro-abortion candidate endorsed by EMILY's List.

    Daines won by double digits and flipped a Senate seat!

    5. South Dakota: Mike Rounds

    Rounds defeated two pro-abortion opponents to flip the Senate seat in South Dakota!

    6. North Carolina: Thom Tillis

    Despite being written off by many pundits, Tillis managed to eke out a win over pro-abortion incumbent Kay Hagan.

    7. West Virginia: Shelley Moore Capito

    Capito defeated a radical pro-abortion opponent endorsed by EMILY's List.

    8. Georgia: David Perdue.

    Prior to running for Senate, Perdue served as the CEO of Reebok and Dollar General.

    9. Oklahoma: James Lankford

    10. Nebraska: Ben Sasse

    11. Alaska: Dan Sullivan

    Sullivan won a hard fought race in Alaska to defeat pro-abortion incumbent Mark Begich.

    12. Then there's the runoff in Louisiana. We're backing pro-life Rep. Bill Cassidy against incumbent Sen. Mary Landrieu.
