1. Josh Miller

Josh is a lot of things. Mediocre is not one of them. Between his soul 'n blues vocal lines and unique guitar patterns, he demands all ears wherever he plays. And oh, he plays.

2. Matt Sharayko

Speaking of "new" songwriters... yeah, Matt is new. He started writing songs in 2014 and has already begun forming a sound that sells with strong influences of John Mayer, Nickel Creek, and Noah Gundersen. He'll be entering the studio in August to record his debut EP - don't miss it.

3. Dylan Jane

Ever wonder what Tom Waits would've sounded like as a female? Wonder no more. The answer is Dylan Jane. Except, more soothing folk and less ruckus rambling. She just put out a phenomenal LP late last year and is constantly captivating new listeners with her frequent and ominous performances.

4. Jeremiah Tall

Just when you were ready to leave the bar from all the depressing and monotonous music playing, you hear a loud thump and rapid banjo amplified. He's got your attention. A lot of folks try and do what Jeremiah tall does, except very few actually pull it off. He does all that and more while downing 5 beers per set and getting the whole crowd howling. A show performer you don't wanna miss.

5. John Hufford

Once in awhile when you hit the city for a random show, you get surprised. Or captivated. Or something. John Hufford does that. From years of mastering finger-picking and singing gospel tunes, he's developed a sort of Iron & Wine themed collection of hymns, both centered in faith and relationships. Something you'd enjoy a good cry over after a breakup via your local coffee shop.
