"He called me into a room and pulled down his pants," Rebel recalled to People, explaining how the man then asked her to perform a lewd act.

"It was awful and disgusting," she continued. "And all the behavior afterwards — this was all before #MeToo — where they kind of tried to destroy me and my career. If it had happened after #MeToo, then I could have just blasted them."

Rebel said that she utilized her law degree to document the incident, and spoke to her rep about it. "Definitely amongst industry circles, I made sure people knew what happened," she continued.

"I should have left. It wasn't worth it. But at the same time, I was like, 'Oh well, do the right thing, be a professional and finish the movie.' Now I would never do that."

"I thought even complaining to my agency was a big step. And to complain to the studio. I found out I was like the fourth person to complain about the guy. Such gross behavior, but a lot of women have had it way worse," she continued.

In 2017, Rebel tweeted about experiencing harassment from a male costar while his friends attempted to film it on their phones.

A male star, in a position of power asked me to go into a room with him and then asked me repeatedly to stick my finger up his ass. All whilst his male 'friends' tried to film the incident on their iPhones and laughed. I repeatedly said no and eventually got out of the room.

While Rebel has never named the costar, in 2014 she did recall how Sacha Baron Cohen allegedly told her, "Look, I’ll just pull down my pants, you just stick your finger up my butt, it’ll be a really funny bit" on the set of The Brothers Grimsby.

She further recalled how she was "threatened" by her male costars' reps to "be nice."

Later I was threatened by one of the star's representatives to be nice and support the male star. I refused. The whole thing was disgusting. I've told hundreds of people in the industry the story in more graphic detail basically to warn them off this individual.
