Raven has been married to Miranda Pearman-Maday since June 2020, and they've been together since around 2015. Not much is known about her dating history, beyond dating model AzMarie Livingston for a few years in the early '10s.
Well, on a recent episode of the podcast Howie Mandel Does Stuff, Raven looked back at her dating history — and the paperwork that came with it.
“All of my relationships, especially — obviously — when I started dating, I had to get people to sign NDAs,” she began. “It took me a while to wrap my head around it because it’s just very impersonal, but someone in our position needs to do that."
When asked when she would give her dates the NDA, she continued. “Before the naughty times come. No, I’m serious — right before naughty time comes.”
"Now, they have consent forms that are like, 'Are you okay with anal? Are you okay with this? Can I do this? You can do this to me.' That's a part of it now," she continued, noting that her lawyer previously sent her a stack of three-page NDAs that she kept in her file cabinet. "I had some good times! I'm 36 honey, I've had my moments."
As for when she got her current wife to sign an NDA, Raven said it came about two months into their relationship. "We were in New York. We were in this outdoor French type of restaurant, and my mom had been bugging me. She was like, ‘You got to get it signed.' I'm like, ‘She's from the industry.’ And my mom was bugging me," she explained.
Initially, Raven said that Miranda refused to sign the NDA. "She was like, ‘I don't understand’ because she knew that we had something different; it just feels different,” Raven added. "She did it for me because she knew that I was being pushed elsewhere, and she understood. But we both were like, 'This takes away the genuineness of it all.'"
"For the longest time, I didn't understand what was going on. I didn't understand that there was someone who cared about me because, 'I love you Raven! I love you Raven! Oh my god, I saw you here!' She had never seen one of my shows," she continued. "She has a nickname for me, so it's not like, 'Raven, Raven!' all the time because that's kind of a trigger for me."
When asked if her relationship with Miranda was her longest, Raven replied, "I was in a relationship with a guy for, like, seven years. My first relationship was with a guy [until] he got another girl pregnant. We signed paperwork. I can tell you stories, but I can't tell you names." Noting that they started dating when she was 13, when she knew she was gay, she continued, "I've had a life, you guys, I just don't talk about it."
