Here's How Megan Fox Reacted To Accusations That She Didn't Donate To Her Friend's GoFundMe After Sharing It

"One thing you're not going to accuse me of is being miserly or lacking generosity."

Megan Fox reacted to criticism after she shared a friend's fundraiser.

Earlier this week, Megan shared a GoFundMe page set up by Nails of LA creator Brittney Boyce for her father's medical expenses after a recent pancreatic cancer diagnosis. "My friend's dad was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer if you guys are able to help please do," Megan said in a caption on her Instagram story.

A few people subsequently criticized Megan, who frequently gets her nails done by Brittney alongside her partner Machine Gun Kelly, for not appearing to have publicly donated to the cause herself.

With an Instagram story addressed "hey weirdos," Megan herself responded to the criticism: "Do any of you have the emotional intelligence to consider that maybe Brit doesn't want her celebrity clients donating large sums of money to her because it creates a dynamic in her working relationships that makes her uncomfortable?"

"So instead she asked me to post the GoFundMe so that many people could donate small amounts of money to help them reach their goal," Megan continued. "I just obliged her request. Anything she needs from me personally she will ask, and I will do it privately."

"One thing you're not going to accuse me of is being miserly or lacking generosity. So try again on another day (probably tmwr!) with some different bullshit you bunch of psychos," she added.
