Cardi B responded to Offset's apparent claims that she cheated on him.
Screenshots started circulating on Twitter earlier today of what seemed to be a now-deleted Instagram story from Offset that said, "My wife fucked a ni**a on me."
In the midst of this, Cardi took to Twitter Spaces — Twitter's live audio function — and sang part of the song "I Should Have Cheated" by Keyshia Cole.
The lyrics that Cardi sang were, "First of all let me say / You can't accuse me of all the things / You know that you are guilty of / And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me."
“Don’t pay attention to that country man, y’all,” Cardi then said. “That Spaces the other day? That motherfucker spiralling and thinking shit. Come on, now. I’m fuckin' Cardi B. ... I think sometimes motherfuckers forget, I'm Cardi B."
"If I was giving this pussy to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody. I can’t fuck me no regular degular shmegular because they gon' tell the world. I can’t fuck nobody in the industry 'cause they gonna tell too."
"So please, boy, stop acting stupid. Stop acting stupid. Going crazy over a fucking Space, don't play with me. The fuck? Stop playing. That's all I'mma motherfucking say, because for real, let's be serious," she added.
The Spaces that Cardi appears to be referring to was one that she did this weekend, where she reportedly said that if she and Offset got divorced, she would release so many hits that she would be inescapable, then "upgrade" and be with "another rich ni**a."
Of course, Offset (who has been married to Cardi since 2017) has been at the center of cheating rumors for years, with Cardi even briefly filing for divorce in 2020.
