1. Crying, at this point, is not an extreme reaction for you.
it is 1:30 AM and I am in the office crying over Gilmore Girls. it's casual.
2. If you're crying, it can mean so many different things. Maybe you really are sad, or happy, or you just saw a particularly small puppy.
3. It always seems to happen at the worst possible time.
4. It's always super embarassing but you just can't control it.
5. Absolutely the most ridiculous things can make you cry.
My wife cries at absolutely anything. I mean, ANYTHING. So i started writing the reasons down because reasons.
6. And because it happens so often, it never has the emotional impact you want it to.
7. Unless it's with a totally new person and then it has too much of an emotional impact.
8. You're guaranteed to cry more than your friends if something bad happens to them.
Or if something good happens, or something fairly neutral, or if nothing happens at all tbh.
9. You basically plan to look awful in all the photos during major moments in your life.

Because you know you will cry off any makeup and turn your face puffy.
10. Your poor S.O. has probably seen you cry many, many times but it still bothers them each time.
11. You have absolutely no capacity for keeping your emotions secret.
12. Which is actually OK, because it means you can get any confrontation out of the way easily.
13. Even though just the slightest suggestion of confrontation makes you cry.
14. You've probably perfected the art of the sly-cry.
Today in economics I was secretly crying and I'm still screaming internally
Maybe you sneak off to the bathroom, and you always have makeup on hand.
15. Which means you've definitely cried at work before.
16. In fact you probably cry at your desk on a fairly regular basis.
17. The worst part is that just because you cry a lot doesn't mean you can cry on cue.
18. Though sometimes it has it's advantages.
