Friends who are two years younger, three years older - it's all a blur. All that matters is that they are just as awesome as you are.

4. You get the impression there is going to be way more drinking than there actually is

Everyone says uni is one, big, intense drinking game, right? Wrong. You're doing pretty well if you're out once a week. Not only are drinks expensive as anything, but coming to an 8am tutorial hungover doesn't give the best impression.

5. The term 'last minute' is taken to a whole new level

Texting your uni friend at 11pm, just to let them know you are starting the 30 pages of readings that the teacher will quiz you on the following day, only to spend the next hour talking about the hot person you saw on the bus

6. Anything that costs money is too expensive

7. Normal meal times don't exist

9. Break's between lectures and tutorials are never used for work

We all think we are going to be super productive and get all those assignments done in the breaks between class, until you spot the hot chips and friends beckoning from across the road. But lets face it, we all just go home to our beds and Netflix.

10. Nobody spends the lecture actually listening to what they are saying
