Described as the hieroglyphics of the modern age, emojis have for a while now provided a popular and expressive communication tool for the youth of today - an icon for poo seems far simpler and more expressive for saying 'that stinks'. But the vast artistic potential of hearts, clouds and monkey faces has only recently begun to gather interest thanks to rapper Yung Jake. Jake's Tumblr and Instagram accounts are followed by thousands fascinated with his artwork and for good reason - his portraits of cultural icons are crafted solely from everyday emojis. Cara D's cheekbones are sculpted using pizza and prawns, Larry David's hair is created from clouds and Miley's infamous tongue is achieved by pasting vast parades of pigs.Can't find your favourite celebrity amongst his creations?
