Here's The Future Vs. Future Islands Mashup You Didn't Know You Needed

    "I've been waiting on youuuu."

So you love that crazy-legged performance of "Seasons (Waiting on You)" that Future Islands did this month on Letterman, right?

And you're totally obsessed with Future's Pharrell-produced jam "Move That Dope."

Because Pharrell does yoga in the video.

So, lucky for you, crazy turntable genius Skratch Bastid blended these two songs together into one amazing song, called "Seasoned Dope." It's debuting on BuzzFeed today:

"I love 'Seasons' and was messing around with it at home," the Canadian DJ who's known around YouTube for expertly scratching up Star Wars songs, told BuzzFeed in an email. "I thought to myself that the dreamy synths would sound good with raps over it, sort of like "Wanna Be A Baller" by Lil Troy or "Fuck Faces" by Scarface. "Move That Dope" is basically the hottest rap joint out right now, and I demoed the vocal over it and it sounded great. The whole 'future' commonality was kind of a fluke, but it doesn't hurt."

Pause — check out Future conquering the ocean one more time:

Also, Future Islands frontman Sam T. Herring is evidently super into rap, and "freestyles" when he writes song melodies.

He can kind of rap?! He has a hip-hop side project thing, called Hemlock Ernst.

    Okay girl, go move that.
