10 Fictional Characters Who Would Make Great Summer Camp Staff Members

Summer camp is a weird time, so wouldn’t it be nice to have some great staff around.

Posted on

1. Leslie Knope, “Parks and Recreation”

NBC / Via nbc.com

Leslie would absolutely take charge of the entire camp. She’d run the place as a tight, well-oiled and fun filled machine. And of course she’d teach a course on scrapbooking.

3. Gandalf, “Lord of The Rings”

Warner Bros. / Via worthashare.com

Every summer camp needs a wise sage. Gandalf appreciates good fun and he’d be there with wisdom and guidance when any kid needed it.

4. Charlie Bradbury, “Supernatural”

The CW / Via blastr.com

Charlie would be the perfect representative for the geeky kids at camp. With them she’d read Tolkien and LARP great tales all summer long.

5. Hoban ‘Wash’ Washburne, “Firefly”

Fox Broadcasting Company / Via nathmerr.webs.com

Every camp needs a teacher with mechanical skills. Plus Wash would happily bring his toy dinosaurs and teach kids of the lands they once roamed and betrayed one another on.

6. Steve Rogers, “Captain America”

Marvel / Via joblo.com

Who better to teach children how to be good people than Captain America himself? Steve would not only take the kids out for morning runs, but he’d teach them of truth, justice and friendship.

7. Cinna, “The Hunger Games”

Lionsgate / Via i2.cdnds.net

Every camp needs an arts and crafts teacher and Cinna would be perfect for the job. While clothes are his expertise, I’m sure he could work some magic with some glitter and macaroni.

8. Remus Lupin, “Harry Potter”

Warner Bros. / Via images2.fanpop.com

Remus is incredibly smart and could help kids learn about facing their fears in their weeks away from the homes they know. They’d just have to be careful and not let Remus go on any camping trips on the full moon nights.

9. Chewbacca, “Star Wars”

Lucas Film / Via a.dilcdn.com

He wouldn’t be great for one on one talks since it seems Han Solo is the only one who truly understands him. But he’d always keep an eye on the kids he’s in charge of and he’d blend in great with the wilderness.

10. Schmidt, “New Girl”

Fox Broadcasting Company / Via blogger.com

Schmidt would inspire confidence, maybe too much at times, but he’d be able to spend time with the kids who weren’t exactly outdoorsy teaching them how to properly press their shirts and pull off fashionable kimonos.
