This amazing moment when Peggy stood up for Angie and dealt with this misogynistic, rude asshole who was rude (rude is an understatement) to Angie and even sexually harassed her. Peggy used her wit, intelligence, and overall badass-ery (and also a fork) to make sure this customer would never show his face at that diner (or hopefully anywhere within a 20 mile radius).

Women standing up for each other are amazing to watch, and this scene is important because is destroys the erroneous idea that girls aren't nice to each other or are constantly backstabbing one another or creating drama, because that couldn't be any less true, and Peggy proves that in this scene.

This scene is another instance where Peggy uses other people's sexism to her own advantage. Periods are a taboo topic today, just as they were decades ago. People often seem to forget that they are a regular, normal occurrence in the lives of billions of people and should be treated as such, instead of being treated like an unnameable disease. Peggy knew the response she would get by simply hinting at that time of the month and used it to get out of work and to go kick some ass.

This scene is especially important because of its defiance to gender roles (or should I say, this show is important because of its defiance to gender roles). In most scenes similar to this one, the woman is the one who is comforting the troubled male hero, who is trying to carry the world on his shoulders. Here, Peggy is that hero, trying to distance herself from others because of the harm she feels she is bringing them, and Jarvis is the comforting one.

This important scene, where the idea that someone has to be cold, detached, and emotionless to be 'strong' is destroyed. Most female heroes are depicted as stoic and dispassionate, and showing emotions is linked to weakness. This scene proves that a female hero can weep and mourn her losses and actually act like any normal human being would in a similar situation without being regarded as weak. It shows having emotions does not invalidate you from being a hero or being strong.

OK, WOW. Dottie pulled a total Black Widow on us in this scene, and it's amazing. This could finally lead to Black Widow's back story (which we expected a long time ago, by the way) and that is especially important because we don't know when we're going to get an actual Black Widow movie (cough, cough Marvel), or maybe ten Black Widow movies (I think everyone would be down for that).

Also, Dottie is a total badass (there are so many badasses in this show, wow).
